Wildflowers Inn Sold


Bob and Emily Koch, of Salem, Mass., have purchased the Wildflowers Inn in North Conway from Brian and Denise Varney and family, who owned and operated the inn for over two years.
The sale was announced by Badger Realty, which served as disclosed dual agent for the buyers and sellers.
Buyer Emily Fen Koch has an impressive background in the hospitality Industry. She obtained her degree in hospitality management from the Australian College of Travel and Hospitality and has worked for The Regent; a five-star, four-seasons hotel in Taipei, Taiwan. Since moving to the United States in 1996, Emily has been involved in property management in the Beverly, Mass., area.
Bob Koch has extensive planning, cost control, financial management, and leadership experience with the Raytheon Company, where he has been employed for over 33 years. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration/accounting from Babson College.
"It has been a successful seven-year plan for the Koch’s to transition from personal property management to the bed-and-breakfast industry," said David Cianciolo, of Badger Realty. "Their search led them to the Mount Washington Valley with the purchase of the Wildflowers Inn."
